Clif Warren, District 1 Mobility Manager

Tuesday, June 22, 2010

Hi. I’m Clif Warren, the Mobility Manager for District 1 (Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai and Shoshone Counties). I have been serving in this capacity since October 2009 under an ARRA Grant. I will be joining the CTAI Team in August when the grant runs out. It has been a pleasure getting to meet the people around the District and work with them to meet their transportation needs. I look forward to working with all the citizens, transportation organizations and providers to achieve the goal of mobility throughout Idaho.

My formal training is in Civil Engineering and Business. I became involving in mobility in 2006 when I headed a community effort to complete a transportation study for Bonner County. In 2008, I became involved in the IMAP, now I-Way, process for LMMN 1A. That led to being the part time coordinator of LMMN 1A in early 2009 and, eventually, the full time Mobility Manager for District 1.

I’ve had, my entire life, and still have an active involvement with community organizations such as the YMCA, Chamber of Commerce and Rotary. The mobility goals of CTAI and ITD fit well with my sense of serving for the common good.

By working together, we can meet the challenges. We can improve everyone’s mobility. I am excited to be a small part of the process.
